Phil Frenis

Prior to joining Pinnacle, Phil has had a 20-year plus career in retail banking, working with HSBC in Australia & the Middle East, National Australia Bank, and Bank of Ireland UK.
Phil has a deep knowledge of credit cards and lending across the entire value chain, having run business unites end to end, with P&L, customer, risk and operational accountability throughout. He has worked as a banking partner with non-financial institutions in various markets through co-brand and partnership relationships he has led including Woolworths (Australia), the Post Office (UK) and the AA Financial Services (UK).
More recently Phil has led an entire product function (assets and liabilities products) for HSBC across the Middle East as well as leading the segments and proposition development verticals. This has seen him lead the launch of multiple new products and propositions including a Global proposition targeting UHNW customers based in Dubai.
With subject matter expertise across the retail banking value chain, Phil can help solve complex business problems, support strategic initiatives and shape propositions to take to market.
